Saving for Travel Series: Online Surveys. 5

This year I have discovered the beauty of online surveys for making a bit of cash (mainly gift cards!) on the side. I discovered this cool “side hustle”mainly through an amazing group of Instagramers who share their saving money journeys.

So the main premise is that you sign up for online survey companies and they offer you surveys to complete according to your profile (which you set up on signing up). Each survey offers you either monetary payment or ” points” which you can exchange for cash deposits into your bank account or gift cards. Each survey you are offered tells you how long it should take you, so you know if you have time to do it, (although sometimes the surveys take longer then what they say) and it tells you how much you are going to get paid. Sometimes surveys on each site can come and go quickly because they fill up their quota quickly, while other surveys you might be screened out of because you don’t meet the criteria.

That’s a quick overall look at surveys in general now for some info on individual sites! Many sites offers a referral program and I have put those links into each surveys info. These links just mean that there is a small kickback for me when you sign up… but doesn’t cost you, or effect your survey experience at all… and I would love you forever!

Here are Four Survey sites I am presently signed up for:

Purprofile:

Great survey panel, has an app which is great for when you are on the go, although recently I have been participating alot more online as it seems to be quicker and I get more surveys offered.  You can exchange for cash deposits, gift cards, or Raiz invest. The cash deposit takes quiet a while ( up to 1 month) to appear in your account so I often redeem for gift cards. There is a limit of $20 minimum transfer and a limit of $70 per two months so can be a limiting if you are doing a huge amount of surveys, but its still an awesome site! Lifepoints:

No app (that I know of!) survey offers are sent through email, that get sent to me everyday. Plenty of surveys generally offered which give you points and you exchange these for a variety of gift cards. Vouchers start at $5 and arrive via email, within a week and are easy to use at the register. I participate in surveys everyday and this platform is my biggest payer… although sometimes it can take me a while to save them up, as not all of their surveys pay well. Basically my favourite survey site. No referral program that I know of!

Octopus group:

Biggest payer for surveys, but for me surveys are not very often. It has an app, although many surveys cannot be completed on you phone, but have to filled out online. Survey payments can be exchanged for gift cards which arrive in your in box practically immediately. Great survey site to have because they pay the biggest out of all of them when the surveys come through. If you want to sign up please sign up via the link below:

E – Rewards;

This was my first Survey panel that I signed up for, I get emails sent to me when there is surveys available.  I have it linked to my Velocity points card so that my survey points an be transferred for Velocity points so that hopefully I can get free flights! I hoping to change my options so that I might be able to have other reward options soon, but because I signed up through a Velocity offer that is that I’m stuck with at the moment.

When I exchange for gift cards I always get Coles ones. These I stock up and use to food shop, either for when we go away or during my weekly shop, so I can then save that food shopping money for other things.. at the moment I’m putting the cash away for our 2020 Perisher Ski Pass.

Do you participate in online surveys?

Do you have some to recommend?

Thanks for hanging out on here!!
