During the week two of the older girls came up with the idea to travel to Sydney on the train taking advantage of “Sunday Funday” <\/a>($2.50each travel on all NSW transport for the entire day!) and without any set plans, wander around the city and see what they could find.<\/p>\n

Well with no plans of my own for Sunday I decided to jump on board and tag along with the same idea, no specific plans just seeing how far the younger kids and I could travel on $2.50 each and what we could experience.<\/p>\n

From Central station we split up, meeting back later in the day at the same spot to share our experiences with each other! With so much to see in Sydney it was no surprise that we all had different stories to tell!<\/p>\n

Catching the Ferries in Sydney gives you the best view of the Harbour!<\/p><\/div>\n

First stop was Luna Park! Lots of rides and great views!<\/p><\/div>\n

Manly Beach was the next stop! A short ferry ride and soon we were having icecream!<\/p><\/div>\n

The Sydney Museum of Contemporary art is right beside Circular Quay and entry is free!<\/p><\/div>\n

Loved people watching on the steps of the Sydney Opera house! a Sydney icon!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Street

Street performers are every where to entertain you at Circular quay!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"opal

Using the Opal card is easy…and for $2.50 on a Sunday it allows you to travel on all public transport around Sydney!<\/p><\/div>\n

Chinatown for a yummy meal!<\/p><\/div>\n

This bike at Darling Harbour allows you to charge you devices as long as you pedal!<\/p><\/div>\n

Along the way they came across sculptures at Barangaroo reserve!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"With

With daffodil day approaching the cancer council had an exhibition for hope on the lawn near the bridge.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Sitting

Sitting outside government house.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Visiting

Visiting the State library!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Walking

Walking through Hyde park on the way back to the station!<\/p><\/div>\n

So that was our day!<\/strong><\/p>\n

We all had a cheap, interesting and exhausting day!<\/p>\n
